Michael Schroeder

Born and raised in the Milwaukee area, Mike currently resides in Bay View with his partner, Maura and their dog, Raven. After more than a decade in the accounting industry, he left his full-time employment behind in 2021 to dedicate more time to his passions: spending time outdoors and photography.

Mike is an avid hiker and backpacker. He has completed thru hikes of the Foothills Trail, along the border of North and South Carolina, and the Long Trail, in Vermont. Mike is steadily working his way towards “Thousand Miler” status on the Ice Age Trail. He is also an active volunteer with the National Park Service and the Ice Age Trail Alliance.
